Intellectual Property Lawyer and Attorney

Steven Stern is an intellectual property lawyer, attorney and Principal at Gollieb, Rackman & Reisman, P.C. He specializes in patent litigation and other areas of intellectual property litigation, including trademark, unfair competition and copyright law. His most recent work has included the representation of clients from the Voice over IP (VoIP), security camera and software industries where he has applied his knowledge and educational background in computer science.

Mr. Stern's knowledge and experience extend to domestic and foreign patent prosecution, where he has prepared and prosecuted many applications involving mechanical devices and commercial and consumer products. Mr. Stern has also authored a number of opinions for clients seeking advice on infringement and validity of patents.

In addition to his broad range of legal knowledge and experience in the arena of utility patents, Mr. Stern has established himself as an expert in design patent law, a field in which he routinely counsels and provides legal opinions to clients in the consumer retail and jewelry industries. Mr. Stern is also a regular lecturer on design patent and copyright law in the jewelry industry.
